A competition for a new building for the School of Architecture at the Tel Aviv University.
The design aims to connect between the campus and the city, to create a vibrant place open for students, visitors, and the public. On the campus side, the building is located between the school of film and the school of music. Therefore, the proposed design refers to the building of architecture as an open stage where students can meet, collaborate, and exchange ideas. For establishing an urban connection, the new building defines a facade to the university entrance square. The public functions are located on the street level to increase interaction. The interior includes multiple spaces for collaborative work and casual gathering.
