WHO WE ARE: Studio Sabra is an Amsterdam-based creative architecture, urbanism, and design office. Our expertise includes housing, public buildings, and urban renewal. We work in collaboration with private clients and the public sector, nationally and internationally, enabling us to be involved in a variety of projects in different locations, covering various scales and functions. Studio Sabra is a member of the Dutch Royal Association of Architecture Offices (RBNA) and a chartered RIBA Practice. Our work has received several prizes and was included twice in the list of 40 most promising young architectural studios (2016, 2020).
OUR APPROACH: At Studio Sabra, we combine research and design, and we focus on creating inclusive spaces that promote human encounter and interaction. We engage in research in the fields of architectural history as well as urban regeneration, as we aim to foster the reuse and redevelopment of existing assets as part of our sustainable view. We always design with great awareness of social, cultural, economic, and ecological values on all scales, from interior design to a neighbourhood scale.
