Description: The house in Harabi MeBacharach 13 is listed as a historical cultural heritage building. It is part of the former German- American colony of Tel Aviv–Jaffa, built by European Christian settlers during the 19th century. Harabi MeBacharach 13 was built by a German family from the Templar community, and constitutes a leading example of merging South German architectural typologies with Palestinian building traditions and techniques. Therefore, it is listed for rigorous preservation. The documentation works included studying the buildings chronology, analysing its architectural characteristics, detailed drawings and illustrations, and guidelines for renewal. The state of the building required expansive historical research, focused on tracing the former stages and the manner in which it developed along the years. The outcome of the documentation works included instructions and techniques for preservation and renovations, that would enable adapting the building to contemporary demands while restoring is historical and cultural importance.
