Description: The design creates a community compound that will best integrate with the existing environment, creating a space that encourages meeting and joint activity. The masses are designed around an intimate square that is connected to the surrounding neighborhood, making the complex an integral part of the landscape and everyday life. The design utilizes the existing topography to create a connection between the project and the surrounding streets. Connecting to the existing fabric will encourage spontaneous movement through the complex and the open square, thus enabling a continuous vivid. In the heart of the complex is an inner square that aims to be a meeting place for residents of the neighbourhood and users of the complex. This plaza functions as a leisure and urban-connector author, inviting passers-by to enter the cultural centre. The volumes are pierced, creating entrances from the streets through the buildings to the inner square, while ventilating the buildings and adjusting the compound to the scale of the surrounding neighborhoods.
