AL NAYZAK INNOVATION CAMPUS AND SCIENCE PARK
Location: Jerusalem
Type: Public Building - Education
Year: 2015-2018
Client: Al Nayzak Foundation
Partners: @Ronel Architects and Planners

Description: The youth science park is an initiative of the Al Nayzak Foundation to offer the Palestinian community of Jerusalem a learning environment based on the values of justice, knowledge and development. This project aims to promote education and a culture of excellence, specialising in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Correspondingly, the designed building includes areas for formal educational services and a less formal scientific and technological adjacent park adjacent to it, with exhibitions and interactive displays for the benefit of school students from Jerusalem and across Palestine. This complex also includes a library, a conference hall and an Astronomical Observatory. The designed complex correlates with the values of the Al Nayzak Foundation, which is the desire to create an inclusive learning environment that stimulates research, exploration and innovation, and promotes the development of a free and productive youth, which is connected to its community, city and homeland, and that is aware of local and global issues.
