Client: The City of Nahariya
Partners: Levant Architects, Teo Studio Landscape Design, David Ramirez Infante Water Management
Prizes and Recognition: 1st prize-winning proposal, runner-up national architecture prize, 2024

Description: The project introduces approximately 3,500 new housing units, designed in a variety of sizes and typologies to accommodate diverse community needs. A comprehensive study of housing block configurations guided the design, ensuring each typology is thoughtfully integrated into the urban fabric. The result is a balanced mix of dense, active edges along main streets and more intimate, community-oriented clusters near the riverfront. By combining mid-rise blocks, courtyard buildings, and smaller-scale units, the plan creates a layered residential environment. This approach not only enhances housing accessibility but also strengthens social diversity and the overall resilience of Nahariya’s urban development.
